of the Caribbean Online was a
massively multiplayer online role-playing game based on the franchise of the
same name. The game was first announced by The Walt Disney Company on April 26,
2005.
The
game allows a player to customize the pirate character, get a ship, hire crew
and forge alliances to defeat the enemies. The game’s experience system requires
the player to go on quests, hunt for treasures and battle evil forces to earn
reputation and gold. There are mini-games like poker and blackjack as an in-game
competition with other players online.
